In this blog entry I will summarize my outcomes presenting a brief conclusion as a result of confronting my findings with my background information. It surely proves that oral history is a valuable method of historical research.
It is important to point out the big effort that takes to immigrate. Then it only can be motivated by the search for a better future despite of cultural shock, laws or racism.
Immigration movement has increased significantly as our narrator said: "30 years ago it was odd to meet another foreigner. However around 90's you were able to find foreigner people anywhere". As a supporting factor we can affirm that it turned easier to live legally or become spanish as the time past.
Racism as a negative circunstance has not been determinant to give up immigrant's goals. Nevertheless, it is a reality as a result of crushing cultures and ignorance.
Another element of immigration process turned into annecdotes that are not more than a stage of culture shock curve. It is an adjustment that at the end leads to integration.
As you can see this research method has provided us information you might ignore from immigration. Therefore, I believe this research is worthy and I hope you can get benefit from.

FINDINGS
At this blog entry I will present you the findings as a result of my
research by interviewing my narrators following a structure traced by my
objectives. However the outcomes will be showed in another entry as a conclusion
achieved by integrating my findings and contextualization.
My narrators find out their motivation for
taking such us big decision mainly in two interrelated aims. They claim were living
a difficult economic situation, so they felt forced to look for a better
future. Also, an important help to encourage them was the fact that before
travelling they have already known somebody from Spain in PerĂº.
When my narrators talk about their integration process they share some responses, but others not. Surely both of them missed their family meaningfully. Despite of painful situation some answers were the fact of loving plenty of green areas, of enjoying travelling within Europe easily or taking advantage of high quality life level.
There were some interesting results about comparing immigration through time. If there is one significant is the way how they communicate with their relatives has evolved. For example, firstly they just had letters, later it comes the use of telephones, but now it is easiest with WhatsApp among others technologies. Furthermore, something that has changed during this years was paperwork. Nowadays it is not so hard to come and reside legally or even you can become Spanish. For example, 30 years ago it was not only difficult because of longer process, but also for uneasy requirements to accomplish. On the other hand, these days you can even validate your Peruvian driver license to a Spanish one.
I have found different answers to the questions about racism. These answers depends on the person, on the period of time or even on the place. One of our narrators claimed that at a first time due to work, she never feel discriminated. However, recently she felt understimated about their abilities for being foreigner. On the contrary, there is another narrators that ensure somehow feeling discriminated or witness a discrimination attack.
For sure we can write a book with the anecdotes that have been told, but I will mention some of them. For example, it was awkward the way spanish people talk because they do it loudly. Also, when you say "venga" it does not mean to come, but good bye.
